The challenge

Agriculture is responsible for heavy pesticide and fertilizer overuse, driving soil degradation, water pollution, climate emissions, and biodiversity loss. Yet farmers still lack affordable, accurate tools to understand plant health in real time, making sustainable practices costly and difficult to adopt. Precision farming technology exists, but it is either too expensive, too complex, or inaccessible to the majority of farms, leaving most growers to rely on broad, inefficient chemical application rather than targeted treatment.

The solution

PerPlant delivers a plug and play AI camera sensor that brings precision farming to every field and every farmer. Developed from cutting edge research at KTH, the device uses on edge processing and advanced plant sensing to diagnose crop health, optimize fertilizer and pesticide use, and increase harvest yield while reducing environmental harm. By giving farmers plant level insights at low cost and without technical barriers, PerPlant empowers a new generation of data driven sustainable growers who feed the world while caring for soil, climate, and biodiversity.
