The challenge

As the world transitions to a cleaner energy system, delivering reliable high-power electricity remains a major challenge. Current storage solutions struggle with slow charge/discharge rates, limited cycle life, reliance on critical minerals, and safety or temperature limitations. Without breakthrough technologies, industries from transport to datacentres face energy instability, high costs, and barriers to scaling clean power.

The solution

Super6 is developing next-generation supercapacitors that deliver up to 9.5 times higher energy density at 80% lower costs. Their devices charge and discharge rapidly, cycle thousands of times, operate safely across wide temperature ranges, and require no critical minerals. By enabling highly responsive, durable, and cost-effective high-power storage, Super6 provides a foundational technology for a cleaner, more reliable energy system, supporting electrified transport, grid stability, and a sustainable global energy transition.
