Before joining The Footprint Firm, Julie worked as an Academic Officer at the Agency of Public Finance and Management focusing on making procurement by the Danish central Government more sustainable. This included uncovering how to reduce the greenhouse gases connected to specific procurement categories, as well as estimating the effects of different initiatives. Besides that, Julie has conducted a wide variety of analyses related to spending reviews strategy projects and marketing analyses.

Julie has a great interest in the field of sustainability, particularly how to close the gap between the complex science of climate change or sustainability and the general public, business and decision makers. From her studies and her previous work experience, Julie brings a well-developed methodological integrity and the ability to address complex issues with a structured approach whilst being able gather and process great quantities of data.

Julie holds a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen with a specialization in Politics of Environment, Climate and Sustainability, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
